Just keep that in mind
Okay, guess I should be open to learning about 'em.
Basically, in the latter half of the 19th century in the US, the northern region and southern region were really divided, the south was pro racism and the north were abolitionist.
The south was under-represented in politics
Is that what you call 'the civil war'?
Yes
Ah, I think I've heard a little about it.
The south seceded from the US, forming their own country
The Confederate states of America
But my knowledge came from South Park, so it's probably not accurate.
Essentially the US is a federation
Kids already watching south park
Lol
And the Confederate states were a confederation, which means the states have more control over themselves
And the federal government is weak
I love that show. It's bloody hilarious.
Where as in a federation, the federal government is more powerful
Yeah it's pretty funny
Okay, so they separated into two different countries, and they separated again, but into sovereign states.
No, only once they seperated
South lost the war
Oh, that makes more sense.
I think it's kind of bullshit though
America wanted representation and Britain didn't give them any, so they did a revolution
The south wasn't being represented near as much as the north
What exactly is PUBG?
And I think either way, eventually the South would abolish slavery
This is possibly my best history lesson in a long time.
Who knows the whole war wasnt all based around slavery and racism
Yeah, it was more so about politics than slavery
Or hatred of nigs
Confederacies probably don't work well
I live on one of those 9/11 memorial streets
The most interesting part is the story about general robert e lee
Who's Robert Lee?
9/11 was an inside job
Let's not go into conspiracy theories.
I have a confederacy beanie
H3H3 style beanie?
