My favourite show was made decades before I was born.
A lot of people, probably Trump himself too, mistakenly believe that the president has total control over the nukes and can use them on a whim all by himself because of all the movies with nukes when the president has to authorize the launch. That's not how it works at all. All the president does is give final authorization. they can't order the launch.

Launching a nuke has very strict proceedures on it that must be followed and there's several codes that are held by different people that all have to be entered in order to launch.
