1. We can never reach perfect proof of anything in life. There is always the possibility that what we believe is false. Thus it is prudent to use plenty of heuristics to make decisions based on limited knowledge. These includes generalisations, rules of thumb and educated guesses.
2. The historical circumstances surrounding the death of Jesus, and what subsequently happened, such as the empty tomb, the resurrection appearences and the inadequacies of the anti-christian explainations, suggests that what probably happed is what the earliest sources caim - Jesus rose from the dead.
3. This strongly implies the existence of God, and also implies that this God confirmed the personal claims of Jesus - he is the son of God, sent to save us. Furthermore, Jesus confirmed the old testament to be from God, and gave authority to his disciples - the writers of the new testament - thus the bible in its original script has been confirmed as being the word of God.
4. The bible describes a moral framework, which excludes homosexuality from in any circumstances being acceptable.
