I don't really like the fat.
But you need it.
The meat itself doesn't taste as good when there's not enough fat.
I just cook it extra crispy anyway so doesnt matter
I know some people view it as... bacon blasphemy, but if they do turn out pretty well microwaved. If you have a proper microwavable bacon tray for them.
One that hangs them from a stand turn out well.
Ones where you just put it on a tray.... not so much because the grease that builds up complicates getting the cooking time correct.
It's much easier though to get consistent results than more traditional ways of cooking them
And it cooks more evenly
I usually cook them in the pan top stove method but today i wanted to make less of a mess and just cook them easy
