Not nessesarilly. Why did you go on that diet in the first place? Obviously there was some sort of health concern attached to your previous eating habits, and so, therefore even though you may not like it, you were influenced to at least attempt to diet.
not the point at all you are thinking in a linear progressive manner where as most things n history are persuaded by minor events many forks in the road to take and for a limited time like a diet that last about 3 weeks that is about as much time as you have to change the course after that most people will either have made a permanent change or went back on the current path
there of course are certain things you cant change like the fact you will some day die but what can be changed is when where or how

what little thought i have is that i dont necessarily care because free will or not, _i'm_ aware and conscious of my own actions and i think thats the only thing that matters???
