I think I recall being told that there was a joke in the series targetted at someone on 4chan because apparently one of the writers got targetted. I don't remember exactly what it was(As I was unaware that this event happened) but the 4chan user messed with the wrong person lol. Also it was so popular that fans have been urging the creators to make a season 2(It left in a cliffhanger) and they got so fed up with the pestering about season 2 that every chance they get they troll the fanbase by making it seem like a season 2 is coming but ends up being something else being PSG related(Once they trolled fans so hard with making what seems like a season 2 art leak but ended up just being a PSG themed cafe when revealed)
