Tension horror doesn't really work for me because as soon as I die I'm like "right.. I can just do this by trial and error"

Played the outlast 2 demo yesterday with my cousin, he was scared shitless.

It's why I like when horror games have saves be far apart or have limited saves

The first one I just worked out the AI really quickly, and it was a walking simulator after that

And hopefully less obvious jump scares cause I guessed probably 90% of them

But I don't like how it's a thing for almost all horror games

I suppose. The bits where AI chases you in open rooms and such like the scissor hand guy were meh

I like how in Alien Isolation it had the guns be useful

The only jump scare that got me was the first one cause I amped myself up

But I loved how RE7 had killable enemies, bosses, limited ammo, etc

Like 'oh shit it's gonna jump me any sec- FUCK' type thing
