I don't think someone being in the military means that they're worthy of respect, particularly since McCain was a daddy's boy whose military record consists of breaking under torture and possibly collaborating with the North Vietnamese

You can't make leaders happen, they will show up when the time is right, an organic thing. I'm of the view that elites that could lead or raise up a leader are out there, they are waiting. Yes, I admit I am of the thought that these things work from the top down, not in the streets and work up
