Should blame the people who caused it

Seeing all of those comments, taking it all in, thinking about it, it can really mess with his morale and push his drive to make videos and content out the door

When you make content that YOU WANT TO MAKE and you get mass amounts of shit for it because "its not what you're known for", fuck yeah I'd disable comments too

It's discouraging to see people needlessly hate on you for not making the content they want

Not everybody can be like @Repzion, or other youtubers that deal with mass amounts of hate. Not everybody has the mental strength needed to push through it and continue. Angry Joe in this case, is one of those people that cant. He cannot take all of that hate and continue to have motivation to keep going, I imagine he lost a little bit of his drive each time he tried to do something HE WANTED. Imagine that though; you've been doing the same thing for years, you're losing your drive to continue, and you want to do something different to *maybe* get a little bit of that motivation you had many months or years ago back, right. Now imagine this: After you start working towards this direction of new content, doing what YOU WANT to do, with YOUR own channel, you get nothing but hate for not making what THEY WANT. Each new video you upload seemingly gets more and more dislikes, and more comments about how you've changed, and how your content isn't as good anymore. It takes a toll on you, and will drive your motivation down, if you're somebody like Joe. I'm not saying he was right in disabling his comments, but I understand why disabled them, after knowing what happened
