Nah, Cress, I've met a lot people who don't like anime.
Who? Like your parents?
My personal opinion is that people who don't like anime haven't found the one for them.
Well my father...I don't know about him, he left when I was younger.
@LunaticHell Check <#231946987585404930> ill post an image of what he did, tbh its just a meme
I don't enjoy anything about it at all. However, I can respect the artwork.
Mh
the netflix deathnote is a movie, based on the manga/anime, but it's live action
Well I could give it the good ol' colledge try
and american
I knew it was anime related! I just knew it in my heart of hearts.
I've watched a metric shitton of anime, most of anime is crap - but then agin: most of everything is crp.
GANG GANG
For example: The majority of anime is slife-of-life stuff.
What's your gernres of stories in general, Cressy?
I'm not really a film/show buff. I just enjoy what I enjoy. Sometimes it's a show or movie with substance. Sometimes, it's Will Farrell, depending.
But it's never David Lynch. Ever
Or anime.
That wasn't what I had in mind when I asked for gernres.
I absolutely loath films that are intentionally disorienting to be unique and edgy.
I thought of stuff like: Action, drama, sci-fi, fantasy, detectice stuff, spy stuff
such things
Like, Mullholland Drive: not worth it's weight in piss
For example just now there's this awsome spy anime set in an alternate history version of London, 19-ish century.
I can do sci-fi, fantasy, action, comedy. Not a fan of spy movies with the rare exception.
Horror, rarely. I'm always disappointed by them, though.
Sci-fi, I know one of the best sci-fi anime ever.
Amazing music, intresting character, nice story and they know their physics and space travel....things.
The only animated things I like right now are South Park and Rick and Morty
Oh shit, yeah, Rick and Morty.
And a handful of Disney/Pixar films
I don't like anime tbh
I'm not alone!
Even when had to learn Japanese in school
The anime I'm thinking off does something most sci-fi stories set in a world with space ship battles normally never think off.
