I think that respect is earned and not given but that doesn't mean you should be disrespectfull. its still important to act kindly and be polite

i 1st started seeing it that way when i was learning about the mafia . respect seemed to be a big thing to them yet they respectyed no one around them. with quote respect needs to be earned i saw a flaw in that logic.

It's important to act kind and polite and to be considerate of other people while showing basic human decency. When I say respect, I mean admiring somebody for their achievements or who they are.
