I think you underestimate the value of new players to games that they make.

The mentality issue is one that I agree with. They shun complexity and because of that they also shun depth. That IS a massive problem for a competitive scene.

many people dont see complexity

Everything is directed at e-sports and the pros and nothing is directed at the 80% of people who never get beyond silver.

in hots, it doesnt matter who executes the enemy, everyone gets a part

in league they spam KS

However, Hots does not allow individuals to shine very much.

And that is something that will get in the way of a competitive scene

it doesnt let individuals shine through items, which are usually stats

something i hated about league

someone comes and attacks you and you have no chance cuz they killed your top before and bought shit with that money

I like the depth that an item system offers.

you lose for things you cannot control

heroes has a replacement for that

And I think that you should be able to dominate by out-playing.

These talents cannot be swapped. Items can be, for a price.

especially because you can play the same hero in different ways
