they have done some incredible shit

for a very long time, players only had 9 deckslots

so they had to delete shit all the time

tons of players asked blizzard for more deckslots

they said no, for a long time

for what reason? more deckslots could confuse new players.

another thing was about adding more keywords

like turning "if this damages an enemy minion, kill it" into "poisonous"

they said it would confuse new players

another thing was due to them refusing to do regular patch because of the mobile version

poor little indie devs at blizzard

in addition to that, they have nerfed some cards into the ground like crazy

instead of giving charge to minions, warsong commander now gives those with charge + 1 attack

which fuckin sucks

when people criticized them, they said they wanted to keep "the soul of the card"

remove the entire ability and give it a +1 attack!?

blizzard are trying to get into the esports scene

but with that mentality its not going to work

against a 15 year old who was PRETTY SALTY after that

I think you underestimate the value of new players to games that they make.

The mentality issue is one that I agree with. They shun complexity and because of that they also shun depth. That IS a massive problem for a competitive scene.
