2018-01-02 03:22:11 UTC

I've dealt with parvo

2018-01-02 03:22:28 UTC

It's not guaranteed but I might be able to assist

2018-01-02 03:22:55 UTC

I'll join a vc to give you instructions on how to help as much as I know how

2018-01-02 03:23:42 UTC

The vet already told me that he’s more than likely going to die tonight, what’s the point?

2018-01-02 03:23:58 UTC

Because fuck vets. I've been told that too

2018-01-02 03:24:05 UTC

Okay. If you want to know though feel free to dm me

2018-01-02 03:26:40 UTC

wats parvo

2018-01-02 03:27:01 UTC

Parvo is a virus that attacks the intestinal walls

2018-01-02 03:27:06 UTC

ah

2018-01-02 03:27:34 UTC

The dogs are no longer able to get nutrients or hydration from anything they eat or drink

2018-01-02 03:27:36 UTC

one of my dogs has addisons, my other has stage 5 heart murmer

2018-01-02 03:28:13 UTC

and my cat tore her acl

2018-01-02 03:28:39 UTC

That sucks I’ve had a dog what that stage of a heart murmur

2018-01-02 03:28:55 UTC

yet both my dogs are still troopin at around age 13, you could barely tell

2018-01-02 03:29:14 UTC

Which is why you feed it rice and chicken and though it sounds bad you pull their skin away from their body like your pinching it ya know and put a bubble of water under their skin you do not inject it into the dog you do the under the skin bubble so that they can process it slowly

2018-01-02 03:29:14 UTC

you just cant take em on walks

2018-01-02 03:29:29 UTC

got a big backyard they can run in tho

2018-01-02 03:29:50 UTC

Cause what little nutrients they gain from the food it will be high calorie. And they want to eat it because rice and chicken.

2018-01-02 03:30:06 UTC

And the rehydration keeps them from dying

2018-01-02 03:30:42 UTC

I can't remember the medication I give them right now but I can ask my mom.

2018-01-02 03:30:56 UTC

We have saved a lot of dogs that were gonna die like that.

2018-01-02 03:31:43 UTC

so one of my dogs i have now, he is a hound beagle mix, and we have a fuckton of moles in our area

2018-01-02 03:31:53 UTC

so he stares at ground and barks for hours on end

2018-01-02 03:32:12 UTC

we used to have to carry him in because he was so focused on mole hunting

2018-01-02 03:32:19 UTC

Omfg my dogs in Cali have dug up the entire backyard looking for them

2018-01-02 03:33:14 UTC

, also when we got him, they said he was 5 and had no health issues, one week late we find he has a severe heart murmer and needs like 5 teeth pulled, and he has gotten animal control called twice cus of barking

2018-01-02 03:33:29 UTC

and that he is actually like 10 years old

2018-01-02 03:33:39 UTC

Oh fuck
