And being anonymous for the most part is nice. It's just all around easier to deal with people you don't know and who don't know you. Plus, it cuts down on the maintenance. I'm kind of a shitty friend. I fall out of contact with people for months or years. Not out of spite. I just don't care for small talk.

Yeah, I mostly never have to ask. Most of the friends I seem to have(online, mind you), are ones that need someone to vent to. Which I am fine with. And will offer up personal tidbits wherever relevant. But I don't really do the same with anyone. I feel weird when I open up. I do like listening though. As long as I am not being bombarded by multiple people
