most people are lactose intolerant
@Sir Aggie either exaggerating yourself for the camera using far more hyperbole of yourself than you normally would
Or
Developing some sort of character that has absolutely nothing to do with you that mostly just comes off as cringey because its supposed modelled after a stereotype of crazy people despite having no actual roots in inconsistency
As for the cheese incident
I have, and always will have trouble believing that the child was that allergic to the actual food itself. It’s more likely to me that it was any combination of chemicals, colouring or preservatives that were put into the food.
The dyes in pop for example are far worse for you than the absolute plethora of processed sugar. Some of the stronger scents in fabric softener or detergent have also been shown to have an impact on human health, and while sugar is up for discussion, processed sugar that you’d find sprinkled on candies like sour gummy bears are never going to be as beneficial to the body as the natural sugars in an apple; the difference being that one has been through a process to crystallize, preserve and refine it, the other occurs naturally within a plant.
The bottom line is to stop trusting food companies if you have any sort of allergic reaction to food whatsoever; grow your own plants if you can, and I would suggest bypassing foods that would have to come from mass production like meat unless you have the real estate available to plant down a chicken farm or somethingX
Now if you’ll excuse me, my cats are raising hell for no apparent reason.
Lol allergies
I used to have this weird gluten allergy for like a year or two and since then I became mildly allergic to shrimp of all things.
Liberals!!!
dude
stop with the fatness
I don't know if you can read the bottom banner
But it says that it's Canada's first restaurant with robot service
fatness and fat identity
jk
cant sleep
what am i supposed to do?
music
cant do that either
@Blaundee are the robots effectively roombas with voice recognition and the ability to dish out plates on a conveyor belt, or are they as animatronic as possible without falling over?
The former
we took a quick look inside
two human looking bots in the front that activated by motion sensor to greet guests
other than that, everything was on a robot-trolly
with the meals on them and being delivered to the tables
Nice
Do they just have sushi, or is it more food than that? The Maple Leaf Queens Buffet in Saint John is more to my taste
i dont know
says "Sushi, Teriyaki, and Dimsum" at the end
to me that translate to "this place is shit, dont go here"
i grew up on Asian foods
I’ve never heard of Dimsum...
and I have a VERY high standard of asian food
of ALL the restaurants in Toronto that serve authentic asian cuisine
there is only a select few that I can say is good
all the other, fucking crap
To be completely honest, I’m not actually sure if I’ve ever had authentic asian food. There is a place in Saint George that serves a number of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, but I’ve only been there once. It was actually run by the family of a friend I did some CompSci with, but other than that, it’s all been fried rice, chicken balls, and Chao Mein.
I mean, I like all that stuff, but I heard a while ago that what’s passed off as Chinese or Asian foods in North America is a gross over-simplification of what the foods actually are, and that’s what the Maple Leaf Buffet is in Saint George.
