I do get what you mean, but also, its her friends, there's no need for much interaction with them outside of when they come over i guess, so I think all I have to say about it is dont worry too much about that they think because if you find out some like you as is, then cool, if they dont, then well you have no need to be around them outside of etiquette

I get where you're getting from, I'm not tom boy but I have a pretty.. alternative style?? not goth but sorta getting near that area I guess? dunno how to describe it, but anyways, from past experience I've learned that often some personalities and interests and whatnot just dont mesh well and its not necessarily anything personal, just realize that there's no need to be rude, but also no need to be friends with everyone necessarily
