Man, it makes it hard to watch anything with Eugenia; you know? It just is absolutely discomforting just to see an image of her.

She's killing herself and we can't do anything to help her now. She's well beyond the point and only if she wants to live... she'd allow herself to be admitted.

It's a common reason for folks to go towards anorexia tbh, an extremely under,.. whatever it's called. Underseen? Overlooked? or something like that. Though yeah, overlooked causation.

Not everyone goes through that to become anorexic ofc, but there's a lotta folks out there who get into it as some sort of defense mechanism, or in another case it could easily be feeling like your eating's the only thing you can control in your life, etc.

I don't know. There's also peer pressure. I found scene/goth kids typically have the same allure to such destructive behaviors. So many her friends or "friends" reinforced this?

btw it's kinda entertaining to see how hot of a debate that Eugenia is within the ED community tbh. there's a lot of back and forth between whether she's any sort of a goal or not - apparently she's the 'breaking point' for a lotta girls and considered something they never want to get to, no matter what.

normally it's the near fainting while working/driving/etc, for those who're adults and do have work, that becomes the wake up call.

Majority of the folks I've seen who've had that happen, while it distressed them severely, took that as a point of 'hey I can't go any lower than this'
