2019-03-13 19:45:36 UTC

I consider the term "atheist" offensive

🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

2019-03-13 19:45:50 UTC

The technical and socially acceptable term is "sane"

2019-03-13 19:46:06 UTC

I disagree on that^ too but OK

2019-03-13 19:46:37 UTC

😛

2019-03-13 19:47:20 UTC

Many types of theism are perfectly sane
Christians are just simple to debate tbh

2019-03-13 19:48:26 UTC

Even though the Christ is ultimately the condensation of perfection and what it means to live well

2019-03-13 19:48:52 UTC

***but***
that doesn't equate to any knowledge or truth

2019-03-13 19:48:57 UTC

@Token in the event that he uses an argument that the chemical compound for water H20 is an impossibility due to the fact that Hydrogen and Oxygen are some of the most reactive chemicals know to us, and yet he may try to explain this as “therefore god.” Do not fall for this as I did.

While not converted, I lost the argument to the local thinks-he’s-a-know-it-all, and really, I shouldn’t have seeing as I had already taken Grade 10 English and Science.

The problem with that argument is that the reason H20 is not reactive is because Hydrogen and Oxygen cannot perpetually react. After some specific internet research and consulting my father, I found that water is the result of a chemical reaction: oxidization.

In order to create water, oxygen reacts with hydrogen, fusing the two molecules. Another term for oxidization is burning. In short, as ironic as this may sound, water is the product of fire. Depending on how rapidly, this is either in the form of an explosion, burning, or if hydrogen is somehow solidified in metal, rusting.

Nice south park reference by the way

2019-03-13 23:06:53 UTC

That moment when you let a cloud man tell you it's wrong to have your hardwired natural desires

2019-03-13 23:13:55 UTC

God supposedly hardwiring us with the urge to fuck each other senseless for hours on end and then telling us we can’t is about as stupid as giving a child a lollipop and telling him he can’t eat it

2019-03-13 23:14:11 UTC

Congratulations god

2019-03-13 23:14:19 UTC

You’re a failed parent

2019-03-13 23:16:45 UTC

That moment when churches start to become more lenient with sin and traverse towards satanism yet still call themselves Christianity

2019-03-13 23:17:06 UTC

Wait

2019-03-13 23:17:13 UTC

You lost me

2019-03-13 23:18:53 UTC

What do you mean, “lenient towards sin?!”

2019-03-13 23:19:13 UTC

What do you mean, “traverse towards satanism?!”

2019-03-13 23:19:20 UTC
