@Repzion Ever think, if God did exist that, well then he would need you to believe in his existence? Like he'd be able to see you and know of your existence without you knowing?

Personally, I'm an atheist. Although, I've studied - and continue to study Religion Studies and Humanities as it interests me in learning about different beliefs and cultures.

An interesting thing to think about though is why people need to *believe* in God. This is because God is an idea. He is not materialistic. We cannot see God. God is an idea of what is supernatural. An explanation for that of which we cannot explain.

This does not necessarily mean that God isn't real, but it certainly means that God is an idea, and actually there is no way to prove, or disprove his existence, otherwise he wouldn't be supernatural.

I know it is quite a controversial topic for some.

Like I said, I am atheist, however this sort of stuff interests me as I like to learn about different beliefs and cultures.

Ultimately, if you believe in/follow a religion, that is cool, and if you are an atheist or agnostic, that is cool too. ^-^

God? very vague word, isn't it? Would God(s) need a religion to justify their existence, probably not. Religion and faith be two very different concepts, you see. The former is a dogma used to control one's theological potential by giving the cult's followers a strict guideline of "this or that" of what (((must))) be true. The latter, faith, requires no such restricting formalities that prevent one from asking/searching without denying the the possibility of a theological idea nor worshipping 1 correct answer for such things that are open to interpretation to one's source material.

Well, the way I see it is this. I personally think there is absolutely NO proof or logic to the existence of God/s.

I do not deny that there may be more of an explanation out there as to our existence, but I do not believe in the idea of an/multiple omnipotent supernatural being/s.

I find that religion, however, is a way that people find comfort and purpose. And whilst I am not religious, I believe my purpose is to help others. Many may say the same, and also not be religious. However religion can give some people hope and purpose, and that's totally fine.

I think it's impossible to argue the existence of a being/beings of which is supernatural, as they are not materialistic, and are rather an idea.

Ultimately, whether or not you believe in a God/Gods is fine.

But pills and such you pay but its not expensive

In the UK, we have "free" healthcare via the NHS. It all comes out of your taxes, but ultimately it works well-ish.

And as for pills, you just get a prescription written by a doctor, and you collect your medication from a pharmacy.

Yes here also you pay taxes and you can see the doctor who works "privately" but you have to pay for every test he does on your body

Aye. Here you do indeed have to purchase the "over-the-counter" medications such as ibuprofen.

Some places won't take you without insurance

But anything that goes under your prescription is paid for via the NHS.
