There was a phidippus someone found around Micky Hot Springs here. I got really excited when I saw the picture, and even more since I know exactly where those are lol.

It was super bright yellow

Not all spiders bite or kill humans ok. Most doooont. Jumpers are harmless. So are most garden spiders like crab spiders and orb weavers. (Speaking of which I found my first long jaw orbweaver today and got really exciter)

Shes nesting in our canopy too. I had to move her briefly so I could rescue some dragonflies and wasps from the bug net on the roof. But she climbed all the way back up within 5 minutes lol. I was gonna put her back myself but she knows where she lives I guess.

... also saw my first tachnid fly. It was one of the huge ones so at a distance I mistook it for a bumblebee. I saved it anyway since it was cool looking. That species at least doesn't bother humans. Just other invertabrates. It was crazy looking though. Hairs looked like spikes

There's a tiny lil white jumpy spider livin in one of the chairs in my backyard
