Actually there is no solid explanation of why gender dysphoria happens and the leading theory by Harvard is that it comes from hormone exposure in the womb giving someone a brain structure that doesn't match their body structure, so similar to getting a donor organ that your body rejects the person would notice things on their body that their brain didn't expect and the brain freaks out
