Look, I’m just trying my best to be normal. I’m not going to shove it in your face or anything, but it’s really detrimental to call me a “she”. I know that to you people who have never gone through something like this will understand, and really the fact that I’m trans doesn’t impact my political views or genuine humanity. The fact that you’d attack me for what I am and nothing else is really telling of how ignorant you are. You know little to nothing about me, and yet you heckle me. I’m not expecting you to call me by some arbitrary out-of-my-ass pronouns, or to censor yourselves about your opinions, but if you have decided I’m a fool for my simple identity, I can’t really stop you. I can’t convince you that I’m doing this for the sake of my mental health and not to be quirky or a snowflake, because you’ve already decided.
