If it's that bad you might consider clipping her wings (Or getting them clipped if you are scared to)
I dont like clipping, but we've had to do it with the conure at some time till she was better about things.
unfortunately she flies like a motherfucker regardless
oof
I wake up and take her everywhere with me to the car to my friends etc
and the second she goes back in her cage she lets hell loose
I think she needs a boyfriend or something but I honestly think she'd just ignore a cagemate
Kinda sounds like my conure first 3 years we had her
She didnt know how to self-entertain and completely depended on being with one of us at all times
Maybe it's just her growing up
If you got her within the last year or two probably
I got her as a baby
How long ago?
About 5 months
Ohhh. She's a juvie then.
You may have to just ride it out
Birds are fucking dicks when they're juvies
I hope to God she isn't like this for 15 years LOL
I don't think so, ours was a lot like that until she hit 3 or 4. She was a youngin when we got her
The only thing she'll hold still for is a hair dryer
Started out ridiculously sweet them turned into a twat
Lol
Now she's a slightly less of a twat that listens
My starling used to throw tantrums when he was a juvie. He'd literally throw himself at the ground repeatedly. Looked like a seizure
needs to be a bird whisperer
Idk if there's such thing as a juvie whisperer
*They're monsters*
i can't get her to eat vegetables either
it's so foreign to me
guinea pigs will scarf down like 2 cups of vegetables I'm not used to having picky eaters
Birds are a different demon
We have a 29 year old blue crown who wont eat veggies either
yeah it feels kinda disrespectful tbh
We can get her to eat some fruits but thats it
like they have no appreciation lol
LOL
No, they don't appreciate things. They expect them.
this is why I'm adopting kids if I ever have any
an orphan can't tell me "I didn't ask for you to have me!"
LOL
