I wouldn't say super cold but they have all 4 seasons

And winters are bitter

ah yeah I get confused wiht desert like in africa when the definition is basically anything dry

I think high desert qualifies above 2000 ft elevation

Ours is closer to 4000 in most places

The weather there was 60 in the day and 24 and night
