you see we follow a guy named arthur and he doesnt really take up the joker title till like near the end like in the last half of the movie

The jokers origin story has always been unknown.

Not even he remembers it.

The movie basically acts under the assumption of jokers "One bad day" theory.

AKA, one bad day can change a man.

He changes it whenever someone asks him about it

Joker is literally "One bad day"

He gets broken, because of one bad day.

he didint have one bad day he had several bad days

He didn't really have that bad of a day

It was a good day for him

Good for him

Point being, it's a look at not who the Joker is, but how he became to be that way.

The movie is trying to show us HOW he becomes the joker. It's not that bad.
