When the Doctor's Plot happened he was basically pissed that Israel turned to capitalism and not socialism, plus he was demented and senile and very close to death. Not only had he been of sound mind he would have not done it, but he wasn't even motivated by being "redpilled" on the JQ, he was motivated by him having a bad temper.
