Midsomar is an intellectual horror movie so they will often get mixed reviews from viewers. Like Hitchcock films.
It’s an IQ thing , only about 20% of viewers will appreciate or even get them.
I will take them over a “gator in the house” shock um horror film any day. I love to see how they are written, acted and directed
