If you sit and consider, MGTOW men doing what they want may be the pinacle of life in the galaxy. Nothing more free. We have a luxurious life compared to even 100 years ago. We have machines for fun and entertainment. We can fly anywhere in a day. No worries about food.

I'd be interested in working for society's future if (A) Society was going in a direction I liked or (B) I thought that it'd even be made up of my descendants. Currently the society is begging for a gray dystopia ala Orwell and doing its best to replace my people.
