@Cole Depends what cell they use. VTC6 are rated 30A continuous discharge up to 80C
@timsandtoms still probably not very safe to keep in a car over summer though (battery longevity aside)
I just get anxious when I think about that
you should keep lithium batteries stored below 50 °C or so
mainly for longevity reasons
It'll reduce lifespan, sure
that 80c is cutout voltage just to note.. they should not be stored over 50---- goddamit goz3rr was faster
But buy a new cell yearly
suck it tervy <:benis:239668961011040257>

I don't think the older modules had that
and rdtech never released any firmware (upgrade)
probably for fears of counterfeiting
i would've liked to try out opendps but being unable to go back forever kinda put me off it
yeah i was planning something similar too
maybe i should get some shittier model to try opendps with
i doubt it would even work for RD6006
but assuming the new firmware upgrade button allows you to flash anything ?
thats great upgrade
if i ever end up getting that 5020dsp i might try it
finding that powerbrick for it is just major PITA
and i read from somewhere that those units cant handle that much Amps that well even if advertised (major reason im getting that RD6006 instead
thing is i could really use 48V 20A at times for hub motor testing
