And enable "DNS over HTTPS"
Done that already, saw it last time you said it
@Nathan James 123 is it FuckFuckAdblock?
It's this ^
ah
That's worked for a good few years for me
iirc i found that not to work anymore
im using nanoblocker with ublock
forgot how i set it up
but it took a few steps
Ahh that's fair
'nanodefender'
That big list of those changes in about:config are the latest additions
Forcing certain types of TLS, disabling some features and whatnot
If you were going to make those changes, drop the minimum TLS version down to 1 or 2
Also, make sure to add those into a file called user.JS in your profile root directory
DO NOT edit those settings in about:config
If something fucks up, you can delete the user.JS file, but if you change them in about:config, you cannot revert it without going through a 10k list of options you can configure, it's horrible
I would really reccomend enhancements for Youtube
yeah i have a few of the ones you mentioned already
inc that
twitter one sounds good.. was never a fan of the new version
Yeah I hated that mobile POS
NoScript is a tricky one to use, mega overkill and cancer to setup, but once you're going it's great
yeah
it breaks a lot by default
It will be cancer to use for a week, then when you get everything configured you're good to go for your usual browsing
When I'm using that, I have no worries when going onto basically any website, since I don't need to worry about drive-by malware or anything like that
there is one principle i try to stand by and that is use as few addons as possible. two reasons: one it slows down your browser, but more importantly you cant completely trust extensions (unless you were to audit their code or something)
Very true
i dont know if firefox do a good job of moderating them
I don't do anything 'sensitive' on this browser
but there are some very shady ones
I have another one, just for that
practically malware
Yeah, that's a massive risk you run when using them
Though, you generally don't need to worry if they're from the firefox store
Since that has decent moderation on it
chrome was worse for this tbh
