this is basically more of what I told you
The word is relatively new, yes.
Joker literally just proved otherwise you tard
Explain where?
I’ve heard the word vibe long before it became a meme, like people saying a place has a “weird vibe going on”
^^^^^^^
look this didn't have to get messy til you started playing favorite fucking dictionary out of god damn nowhere
^
who the fuck has a prefered dictionary
Yeah, but it's informal, and not a real word in the sense it's being used.
it IS a real word, doesn't matter if it's informal
<:WaitWhatArmy:590858815189024778>
cunt is an informal word, too, and its coming to mind a lot right now
^
Cunt isn't a word, it's slang.
cunt is very much a word, its been a word longer than this fucking country's been founded
as soon as a word is universally defined, it's a real word
Just because you can utter it, doesn't mean it's a proper word. It's slang, which is an informal utterance that holds meaning relative to how others interpret it.
That's just completely wrong.
also where the fuck do you get off decided slang isn't a word all of a sudden
f off
This isn't even grammar naziism, this is the kind of lingual fascism the french subjugate their language to
is that what this is?
are you a fuckin froggie fucking with my language you little shit?
Slang is shortened language, meaning the word it comes from is formal, and easily defined. Slang is not easily defined, and can be changed to suit whatever the person says, that's why they are not added to the canon of words.
Acronyms are different, that's why "LOL" is an actual word.
>canon of words
I'm about to deck this faggot I swear.
VIBE CHECK
We aren't the french, shut the fuck up
Imagine getting mad on the internet, dude.
little known fact, slang is short for *S*hortened *Lang*uage
Imagine treating English like French
because that's exactly what you're doing
Where do you think English comes from? I'll wait.
they fucking regulate and micromanage and stifle their fucking lingual continuity
ENGLISH COMES FROM FUCKING EVERYWHERE, YOU UNBELIEVABLE CUNT
And so does English, English does this moreso, that's why you have biannual editions of dictionaries.
