i think the idea that the pods = concentration camp thing is overblown as hell

its just a small space thats cheap for people that dont need more space

it isnt inhuman or awful

i pretty much only have one room and a communal kitchen and bathroom

it is awful if the economy is structured in such a way that you have to live in a flophouse with dozens of strangers to avoid starvation and homelessness

right now we aren't at that point, but one day we may be
