Mostly because of the transition from socialism to capitalism
Nobody begs for your meat, you weeb faggot @Hommedaction
And also because former communist party members suddenly declared themselves as anti-communist and seized power in the newly "democratic" nations and thus established a continuous state of corruption
You'll beg me to stop, you kike
The catastrophic economic failures of the USSR was due, entirely, to socialism itself.
>kike
I wish authoritarianism at least could work in some respect so that all you retards could move there and suffer like the good little slaves you are and when you’re subjugated and starving I want to visit you in your jails and spit on each and everyone one of your faces
That mindset exists pretty much solely for the people who lived during those times
I'm the least jewish of all the people in this server
The younger ones despise the communist era
They are the ones who take full advantage of the material conditions the free market provides
The people that lived during the ussr times would of been fed propaganda
Authoritarianism worked for literally thousands of years.
It doesn’t make it good.
Propaganda doesn't play as big of a role as you think
Socialism has never worked and cannot work.
People just accepted the status quo back then
Fuck work, NEET utopia now
imagine the fuck they could cuase if they had internet
Like let's ignore Eastern Europe for a second and focus solely on Russia
😦
Honestly the idea of a slave state for authoritarians where we can outsource cheap labour isn’t the worst ever
Sounds like China
Better than socialism 🤷♂️
After the USSR fell in 1991 you had an immense amount of formerly state owned factories go out of business
So a lot of people lost their jobs
That literally is China isn’t it
And it pretty much is the worst thing ever
A lot of people lost government mandated busy work.
These people also happen to make up the majority of the Russian boomer generation
Old factory workers who lost their jobs after the USSR fell
If you’re an authoritarian hmu and you can make me some new integrated circuits they’re only mildly toxic
They see the post-Soviet Era as an era of instability
Of economic downturn and corruption
Tbh this is best highlighted in that Pizza Hut commercial Gorbachev appeared in
In the commercial you have an old guy and another, younger one who is presumably his son, when they see Gorbachev enter the restaurant they start debating about his legacy
The older guy says "because of him, we have economic confusion, political instability, complete chaos" while the younger guy says "because of him we have opportunity, freedom, hope"
This gives great insight into what Russians think about the USSR
