Amazon allows you to stream Atlas Shrugged free, if memory serves me just, @Skellybrote.
Thats pretty neat
That alt-history analysis is nearly immaculate, @Skellybrote.
Perfectly executed.
Well-thought.
Monsieur does alot of good alt his
I disagree with his analysis toward the end, however, claiming there would be an impoverished class of rebels throughout society.
their will always be a poor lower class
Not poor. The US poor are hardly poor
Only by internal measures, but against those abroad, they'd qualify for bourgeoisie class. 😂
They're relatively less well off, but doing pretty good
Certainly.
Including by the measures of the past.
@Jeremy exactly
I did the math and the top level of US poverty is equal to middle class in Europe.
Mhmmm.
@Torvarren shows how bad off the EU is
They have no idea just how good they've got it, and I've lived through the truest form of poverty, of no home during my childhood for a period of time, though brief by a year.
I've lived among every income bracket, however.
I didn't get that bad but I was homeless before I joined the army
I literally worked myself up from nothing
Oh, yeah.
That's what a meritocracy is all about.
Countries do not factor poverty the same way. I did some research.
That's the way it should be, Jack.
And, you should be secure in your self-ownership, to enjoy the benefits or the lack thereof, deriving from your choices.
Ayyyy, I'm upper middle class. Hooray
@Jeremy I got a riding lawn mower this weekend. Ive been push mowing 3 acres since March
And the amount of people in poverty in the U.S. is such a small percentage, too, @Torvarren.
Awesome, @Jack of Trades.
Actual poverty, not "I don't have any money because I bought liquor and weed" poverty
Working on that tan?
😉
Well, can I join in the discussion people?
Ive got my white Monster and in ready to get ul at 7 on Saturday
I have seen many poor people from around where I'm and all of them share one thought.
