lol right? I have some issues every now and then but she still runs like a fucking champ
I know it's gonna be my bottleneck in the next couple years
Yeah should be alright for another year or so. Ryzen is cheap as fuck though so upgrading wont be too much hassle for you
FC5 had an update early this year that makes my entire system tank to black, not even BSOD. Just dumps power entirely and hard shutdown.
😂 I remember those day s
Only other people I've seen have the issue are also running the 8350
Games appearing entirely black not coming on lol
No like, not "no video" black,
like, whole machine hard powers off instantly black
They still got for a decent price the 8530s
Never seen it before in almost a decade of doing IT work
Gives a whole new meaning to its black edition
WHICH FUCKING SUCKS BECAUSE I LOVE FC5

Just get a ryzen 5 2600
Plays everything like a dream
I probably will go ryzen when I do upgrade
O
fuck intel I'd never go back to it
I'm considering just saying fuck it and doing a whole new build from the ground up except for my GPU
and retiring this hardware to doing something like DLNA on my home network
I think my favourite part about PCs is building them from the ground up. I'd probably do the same when I have to upgrade
hardware is, and always has been, the absolute favorite thing about my job
I got to cannibalize some parts out of an old laptop to fix like 4 identical models this week

Working in tech has its perks. They'd never let me do that on my last job though. And that was Dell of all companies
Lol we mostly buy Dells actually for work, but we are hosting some local HS kids to do a career thing next week
And we had a stack of "get it out of here" hardware and I considered it a challenge
Yeah we mostly supplied businesses I did the marketing and PR but they'd never let anyone take old parts home had to be disposed
that's why I love working for a small business
What does your company do tech related?
the company does mostly QA work, but I'm the only dedicated IT technician for the US
I've got a boss who does some tech support and we've got a network eng but that's about it
Nice small companies usually treat their workers better
Yeah it's a pretty good gig
For VR I'd recommend grabbing Big Screen Beta you can play anything on your pc, watch films as if you're in cinema and even 3d content
I do think PSVR is better for the multiplayer games but PC is like the wild west atm and we havent got the censorship whiners on us
I basically just pirate the games to test them out as theres alot of garbage early access ones
If I like it I just buy it but its probably best way to test a ton of games out to see if you like itt
