extreme?
I heard they were or did already

As for the the Irish Folk Revival music @TheBadfish I *think* I've ran into a couple of those after branching off of - and pardon my being unsure of the title - "What do you do with a druken sailor" after a bit of exposure from Bioshock.
@yearspastmatter, Diamond Eyes is a solid one as well.
lol
Bioshock is a parody of Atlas Shrugged
still cool
Like I said earlier I don't listen to any specific genres but I do like a lot of death metal and thrash metal
Then, you've got Rosemary and Entombed, @yearspastmatter and @Tubby the Skelly Bones.
yeah that's an old sailing lilt

there are a lot of groups who did takes on them
@Tubby the Skelly Bones how about some death/thrash from Norway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPLd36nN4og
uhhhh if you liked that one let me find something real quckk
It's an odd mash, but I've got this hankering for Christian Death metal.. and that's real hard to find good ones of. >.>
with excellent drum production
Children of Bodom and Amon Amarth are the two big ones
Change-Up. How bout some blues?
haha christian death metal makes me think of the God Wants You To Wear A Hat song from WKUK
oh ok, just the more melodic end of death metal then
