yes, they are. we don't have to
You think we'll do it to ourselves?
5g isn't fiber optics
it's not some great leap forward
there is something to be said for being able to turn it all off when you want
not have it one whether you want it or not
Trust me America will be able to beat China easily which is saying a lot considering we’re at the dark ages of our history
Fibre optic isnt as accessible as 5g will be tho
personally, i think cell jammers should be legal
false; 5g will be limited to cities
Not dark ages tbh, a social depression maybe
Like how 4g was
Please
suburbs and rural areas will still have spotty coverage
You'll know dark ages when you're stealing food from children to kill starvation pains.
Dark ages is a pun for the color of the people we are bringing you see @Redxl
At first, as that's where the expenditures are most justified during the initial phase of the transition, sure.
Ah
nah, it's not just 'at first'
Bit reaching but ok.
fkn nogs
^
there isn't even infrastructure that close together in most places
I have better connection to 4g in rural Oregon than I do in some of the zones in LA
Got a citation for that?
That's why I'm not a fan of 5g, the infrastructure alone is a logistical nightmare.
Dark ages? The darkies don't age though. They're too busy shooting each other
Yeah, but 5G isn't merely a matter of cellular connectivity.
It also includes all consumer electronics, routers, etc.
5g is not going to roll out perfectly
yeah, and as i said they won't be able to know if their deployment is causing synergitic issues even when it just comes to infrastructure
But to imply it will be permanently limited to cities is just absurd
you have wifi for that
Also not a fan of more radio wave pollution
Iot doesn't need 5g or anything else for that matter
Actually I dont have wifi for that
hell most of it can be done using a power line modulator
It's not an expansion of so-called radio-wave pollution, as the specifications for transition require phasing out on a 1:1 basis.
I drive rigs, I have wifi 4 days a month
you have electricity, yes/
