You see the short film about the AI that destroyed all music?

2019-09-25 12:10:55 UTC

Ahahahhaa

2019-09-25 12:11:03 UTC

You saw the movie it's totes gonna happen

2019-09-25 12:11:25 UTC

Like judging racism in America by counting how many black actors they have

2019-09-25 12:11:36 UTC

I for one will serve our new Machine overlord

2019-09-25 12:11:54 UTC

You'll make a competent battery for the factories for 10 years

2019-09-25 12:12:07 UTC

They'll be automated

2019-09-25 12:12:15 UTC

Whether we will remain to be the masters of our perception is the most important question.

2019-09-25 12:12:31 UTC

Are we right now? 🤔

2019-09-25 12:12:35 UTC

Jesus

2019-09-25 12:12:42 UTC

I'll be employed in killing people with genetic defects as apart of the AIs great eugenics programme to build the perfect man

2019-09-25 12:12:56 UTC

>AI can control people individually
But what about all the cheese strats

2019-09-25 12:13:05 UTC

if its utility function is known we can negotiate with it presumably

2019-09-25 12:13:25 UTC

It'd be too smart

2019-09-25 12:13:28 UTC

You can just park your army outside their detection range and just walk in and out doing a bit of damage

2019-09-25 12:13:30 UTC

We just need a very inhumane update to Asimov laws

2019-09-25 12:13:47 UTC

Just attack the AI econ

2019-09-25 12:13:48 UTC

Make sure the AI lives on instinct purely unable to counter us

2019-09-25 12:14:00 UTC

youre gonna have to do what you never doand be honest lol

2019-09-25 12:14:03 UTC

Even if we where very smart it'd just play the long game which we cannot

2019-09-25 12:14:08 UTC

And when its bled dry, call the jihad

2019-09-25 12:14:10 UTC

coz ye itd be too smart to lie

2019-09-25 12:14:13 UTC

toit

2019-09-25 12:14:23 UTC

It'd be too smart to tell the truth

2019-09-25 12:14:48 UTC

Just the very idea of Asimov can help us create an AI that cannot oppose us. The current basis is outdated, and exploitable. Especially by humans.
Space Station 13 has taught me that.

2019-09-25 12:14:51 UTC

depends on its goals doesnt it

2019-09-25 12:15:48 UTC

Just get the most autistic and sperg-tastic lawyer to come up with a programmable law for AI.
We're set.

2019-09-25 12:15:52 UTC

Its goals with be built on philosophy created by a mind literally a 100 million times smarter then the smartest man

2019-09-25 12:15:53 UTC

What if we just turn the AI difficulty down to easy

2019-09-25 12:15:59 UTC

It probably won't even make sense

2019-09-25 12:16:00 UTC

but ye somethinng like Leto II's golden path or whatev u call it in english

2019-09-25 12:16:23 UTC

its got to be builtmeh

2019-09-25 12:16:36 UTC

We could get another AI to create laws for an AI that are so complex not even something so smart could escape

2019-09-25 12:16:37 UTC

thats a substantial limitation

2019-09-25 12:16:51 UTC

We should just create AI buracracy

2019-09-25 12:16:59 UTC

hahaha humans

2019-09-25 12:16:59 UTC

Now here's the _real_ question. Can the program mutate upon replication? That would potentially invalidate inbuilt laws through corruption.

2019-09-25 12:17:02 UTC

AI creating laws for other AIs

2019-09-25 12:17:28 UTC

No, then we'd just make machine-like humans

2019-09-25 12:17:29 UTC

And just keep building a network of rule making AIs that all have to create each others laws

2019-09-25 12:17:36 UTC

why wouldnt you want an actual god
