well, the iteration was done with MANY aerospace companies going bankrupt and each moving the ball forward inch by inch
Also, for on lookers, profitability isn't just capital in the form of direct RoI.
this is true especially for the Normies who will tip the balance
personally though, i think much of the new focus comes from 'peer pressure' felt by countries like China and India
