Russia invaded Poland too, but England and France didn't declare war on Russia for invading Poland. They declared war on Germany, which got like 1/3 of the Polish territory.

so it didn't constitute an invasion in the eyes of the international community

this is partially why the german invasion of the USSR was so successful initially
