The food leaves a lot to be desired, both from a taste and health perspective.
Our medical system is plagued by some gigantic fuckups, half of which don't get fixed for decades or CENTURIES at a time.
If you open your eyes, there's a shitload of awful out there.
Only reason I'm not a pessimist, is because I know things used to be even worse and most animals are worse than humans.

I don't lock myself into one specific strain of economic theory between them because Fascist/Third Positionist philosophy teaches that its all supposed to be organic to your nation specifically anyway rather than trying to shoehorn in other things exactly as they were elsewhere. Doesn't mean you can't take inspiration though obviously.
