It was originally supposed to be scavenge and salvage during the day
Build up defenses
And then defend during the night
But nope
Well the game kinda changed a lot since 2011 I will agree
Which game are you talking about?
They tossed that out
it was gonna be more horror/survival focused with a cartoony aesthetic
I played it in like 2016/2017
I bought the game in 2017
And it was ok, but disappointing
I played the free beta
July 2017 that is
release month
On top of that
its gotten significantly better since the 2017 release I will say
I won't forget that the chad, high-skill game that was UT4 was tossed out for fucking FN BR of all things
but theres been a few long lasting bugbears
yeah I was incredibly salty about them puttin in BR
*That* is something that really stings imo
refused to touch it till I realized I could just do the bare minimum to unlock hats in it for when they eventually allowed their use in the main game which they then started to call save the world
not really much to actually spend the vbucks on other than pvp cosmetics once you get really in the game
Esp since Unreal/Unreal Tournament is the series that defined Epic in the first place
Their *fucking engine* is named after it
yeah its skeesy
don't tarnish the name of FN Herstal
?
it seemed like a short side project the unreal team threw together
then it supernovad
the BR
At least leave like 3 devs on UT is that so fucking hard?
We havent had an update in *3 fucking years*
then Cliffy B looked at it taking 3 months to make (with like 7 years of prior development on it but whos counting not Cliffy B) and went I can make that in FIVE months and make a HUNDRED TIMES THAT
Or maybe it was 2 years
>Radical Heights dies within 2 weeks
believe me Im salty about the devs being moved from projects too
Yeah but u dont play UT, so it isnt as bad for u
UT is literally the opposite of FN BR
In terms of so many things
a good third of the STW team was moved to pvp dev
so it did actually directly affect me too
