I'm saying westerners (not only westerners ofc, but in this case that is the topic) are very close minded

2019-07-21 00:40:31 UTC

i am saying that from a strategy perspective, communism is like a military hiearchy

2019-07-21 00:40:38 UTC

because they think they are the opposite

2019-07-21 00:40:44 UTC

Dissenter Browser... 😩 👌

2019-07-21 00:40:55 UTC

and cannot fathom their own limitations, because they are sure they rejected them

2019-07-21 00:40:59 UTC

but that is just impossible

2019-07-21 00:40:59 UTC

and remember groups effect change more than individuals

2019-07-21 00:41:05 UTC

divide and conquer

2019-07-21 00:41:13 UTC

easy to diviide westerners

2019-07-21 00:41:22 UTC

not so much those in the eAst

2019-07-21 00:41:27 UTC

groups are less effective than a smart individual

2019-07-21 00:41:36 UTC

negative

2019-07-21 00:41:37 UTC

The east has always done nationalism better than the west.
China’s communism, Japan’s military authoritarianism, it’s all based on national identity supplanting individual identity.

2019-07-21 00:41:58 UTC

even smart individuals need to be put in charge of teams to get things done

2019-07-21 00:42:06 UTC

meritocracy

2019-07-21 00:42:29 UTC

There's also the problem of dismissing fundamental differences between persons as an ideological doctrine. The same political system may very well work VERY differently in different cultures/among different populations. Ppl are NOT the same.

2019-07-21 00:42:31 UTC

Yes but an individual can become independant of said group and still be effective

2019-07-21 00:42:33 UTC

'nationalism' doesn't mean indiividualism though

2019-07-21 00:42:47 UTC

not in comparson he can't

2019-07-21 00:42:52 UTC

>he

2019-07-21 00:42:55 UTC

Whatever\

2019-07-21 00:42:56 UTC

look

2019-07-21 00:42:59 UTC

Though that shortcoming is not inherent to Liberalism, it's more of a dumbass take on Liberalism that leads to that.

2019-07-21 00:43:01 UTC

especially not without the great equalizer; the market

2019-07-21 00:43:04 UTC

A group is effective

2019-07-21 00:43:11 UTC

in a very limited way

2019-07-21 00:43:16 UTC

true Doom

2019-07-21 00:43:20 UTC

they typically tend o be good at doing one thing

2019-07-21 00:43:25 UTC

very well

2019-07-21 00:43:25 UTC

you have that backwards

2019-07-21 00:43:45 UTC

but an individual can be effective in more ways because they don't need to hyper focus to be effective

2019-07-21 00:43:53 UTC

if you don't have hyperfocus in a group

2019-07-21 00:43:57 UTC

the group splinters

2019-07-21 00:44:04 UTC

look at the left for example

2019-07-21 00:44:08 UTC

the individual needs support from others. if the group is obstructionist, the individual is powerless

2019-07-21 00:44:09 UTC

This is not a dychotomy though...

2019-07-21 00:44:11 UTC

too many different ideas

2019-07-21 00:44:20 UTC

You are both an individual and a part of a group

2019-07-21 00:44:25 UTC

true

2019-07-21 00:44:33 UTC

both of these are essntial to your personhood

2019-07-21 00:44:36 UTC

The individual can subvert the group
