I have my friend who goes to a shooting range.

2019-07-21 10:21:43 UTC

Go right ahead tiger! But you better be hungry for a knuckle sandwich!!

2019-07-21 10:22:08 UTC

the mental image for a knuckle sandwich is awful

2019-07-21 10:22:08 UTC

I haven't ever tried it personally, but I've never used a shield myself

2019-07-21 10:22:16 UTC

I may take that up as a hobby and figure out how to get maximum pleasure from it.

2019-07-21 10:22:16 UTC

well borrow a gun and just start shooting and in a matter of no time the party will be over

2019-07-21 10:22:19 UTC

Only in games have I used one. Kinda hate them

2019-07-21 10:22:29 UTC

I'm going to record some of my shitty gameplay of ds2 and try to find a clip where I get hit through the shield

2019-07-21 10:22:45 UTC

See that's what I thought, I'm telling you shields in ds2 are broken

2019-07-21 10:22:48 UTC

Aight

2019-07-21 10:22:57 UTC

@Bastard dude ... Knuckle sandwiches taste like blood. I don't do metallic taste in my mouth if I can help it.

2019-07-21 10:23:15 UTC

Now, are you absolutely sure you're not talking about the damage you eat when hit during parry?

2019-07-21 10:23:31 UTC

Because that annoys the hell out of me

2019-07-21 10:23:38 UTC

I don't parry in ds2 because I'm not that good

2019-07-21 10:23:44 UTC

I don't parry often

2019-07-21 10:23:47 UTC

@Reprehensibletrash knuckle sandwiches, pretty much are fist to mouth contact.

2019-07-21 10:23:51 UTC

Woah

2019-07-21 10:24:05 UTC

this guy explaining what a knuckle sandwich is as if its a term that was just invented

2019-07-21 10:24:14 UTC

Dude, there's a shield you need to try, then

2019-07-21 10:24:16 UTC

in ds2 I tried it once but they changed the animation so you have to wait a few seconds before attacking and it annoys the shit out of me

2019-07-21 10:24:25 UTC

And a particular type of enemy

2019-07-21 10:24:34 UTC

@TEABAG!!! "LOL", is when you, figuratively or literally, "laugh-out-loud" which is what it stands for

2019-07-21 10:24:46 UTC

Wait we have a boomer in chat?

2019-07-21 10:24:47 UTC

The halberd wielding hollows, they're parry practice

2019-07-21 10:24:53 UTC

@Bastard it's a literal thing and women shouldn't ask neighbours to turn the music down. Its just asking for trouble.

2019-07-21 10:25:06 UTC

Yeah like the spear guys in undead burg in ds1? @Reprehensibletrash

2019-07-21 10:25:19 UTC

Basically

2019-07-21 10:25:24 UTC

What kind of weapon is it @Reprehensibletrash?

2019-07-21 10:25:34 UTC

Halberds

2019-07-21 10:25:46 UTC

Because if you have to change your stance then you can do that quicker than blocking.

2019-07-21 10:25:47 UTC

Btw, angle in ds2 means a lot

2019-07-21 10:26:03 UTC

An attack to your left is easier to parry left handed

2019-07-21 10:26:36 UTC

Then change your angle and then switch from left to right and that would be your block mechanism covered.

2019-07-21 10:26:40 UTC

A left handed player might fuck your shit up, because of this. You'd have to get a rapier, or parrying weapon in the right hand

2019-07-21 10:27:11 UTC

You see change your stance .... Its better that way to counter measure.

2019-07-21 10:27:26 UTC

You have to learn to play both poles.

2019-07-21 10:27:46 UTC

You can, but I find some of the less known mechanics to be better relied on. Like, agility

2019-07-21 10:28:08 UTC

105 agl, and you can backstep cancel

2019-07-21 10:28:37 UTC

Let's say, backstepcancel-weaponswitch

2019-07-21 10:28:45 UTC

I played a lot of the following : league of legends, soul calibre , Tekken , and even Street fighter. But the best one for the rest is Skyrim because you could change the stance and learn to do both.

2019-07-21 10:29:04 UTC

So your weapon instantly changes to another, without the animation
