im pretty sure the FBI would be out of a job if evidence could be wiped
the police are more crime scene cleaners than crime preventers
most serious crimes
like murder
the FBI is rarely involved unless it's their shit or if a criminal does it multiple times
cant be stopped
they occur on privte property between people tht know each other

the police cant stop every crime
and they dont stop most crimes
so its idiotic to take away an individuals power
to protect themselves

hell, in gov one guy died at his desk and they didn't find his bvody for a MONTH
