well its just like any other currency, people believe its worth something so it is

its value is its rarity

also it has a limited amount that can be mined. so eventually the supply will run out

bwhy do they believe in this one?

the same reason people believe in the dollar

but basically

the creator makes a bitcoin

if another guy comes along

th dollar has a state actor behind it

das power

and recognizes that creators bit coin

he gets a bit coin

so on and so forth

well bitcoins power is not having a state backing it

until millions

it cant be stopped

of people

recognizing bitcoin

as each person is added to the chain

so the utility is the value

the amount of bitcoin harvested goes down

Monero is pretty great too

and its taken sufficient hold in the world

that it is actually useful

for quick transactions

and conversions

not to hold tho
