i dunno why youd be uncomfortable with being attracted to someone who is literally an adult

they are done with puberty

most 16 yr olds aren't mature enough to be 'adults'

So I spoke with people, about it, and they laughed at me almost, and said even with younger children, the attraction isn't an issue, it's safety, boundaries, not looking to do stuff thats bad, etc.

Pretty much everyone reaches physical maturity before the age of 18. However, we have decided as a society that mental maturity is necessary for consent and we put the cutoff for that at 18.
