I've played the first two and they kinda sucked tbh

eh, its a kind of specific genre

If you look at them as super campy, super arcade-y, Firefly-esque RPGs... instead of first person shooters... they’re ok.
I like the characters enough that I’m playing through borderlands 2 again.
