Damn, California AND New York, in the Same weekend? Not looking great for Gun Control tbh
https://www.wral.com/police-1-dead-11-others-shot-near-brooklyn-playground/18536339/
This is normal
Its NYC
You get shootinga in Chicago multiple times per day
>Brooklyn
Ehh....... kinda low for its average, actually
being historic gangland
And if you went with the state-based system you were recommending
You're going to fuck over those people further
I don't see how
Increase social tensions
>Poor black communities given shit care
>Richer white communities given better care
Do you not see that as an issue?
That WILL create an US verses THEM mentality
On a racial basis
no, what will create us versus them is if some states just don't have it
Just don't have healthcare?
Absolutely yeah
Eh... Not really. I'm gussing people with acess to private helathcare woudn't really mind.
Hence you need a federal based system which will ensure a flat line base of care for everyone in the country
yeah, and the rest would just leave
And people too poor, will not move. Because they can;t.
The rich/Middle class can have private insurance, poor people are too poor to care.
That has been the case for ages.
If we have a healthier work force, then they're more productive
You give that arguement to the poor people, they don't care.
And the rich don't care.
Sure, but I'll give it to Middle and higher class
Which the majority of people are
Rich people don't care, as long as the taxes are low.
And will create support for a universal healthcare system
Middle classes are the same, unless they are somewhat ideological.
The rich will care, because a more productive society betters them
poor people who can't afford healthcare and cant afford to go somwhere that has it, gee, I can't see anything going wrong
More people exchanging money, more people doing things..
The NHS worked pretty well till labour screwed it up
again, the only baseline is that states should have it. where they take it from there is up to them
It has been that way for ages, no one really riotted for that until now.
@James Rimor Unironically Labour made it better
